Terms and Conditions

Effective 18 August 2026 · Onward Ticket is a service of Onward Ticket Inc.

These terms govern your use of onwardticket.travel and the reservation service provided by Onward Ticket Inc.(“Onward Ticket”, “we”, “us”). By placing an order you agree to them, together with our Refund Policy and Privacy Policy. Please read the section on what the service is and is not; it is the part that matters most.

1. What the service is

Onward Ticket places a genuine flight reservation in the airline’s own booking system on your behalf and delivers it to you as a PDF itinerary. The reservation carries a live booking reference (a six character PNR) that you, an embassy, an airline or a border officer can verify on the airline’s official Manage Booking page using the PNR and the passenger surname.

The reservation is a held booking: seats are reserved but the airline fare is not purchased. It is the same instrument travel agents create before ticketing. It exists to document your travel plans, typically for a visa application, an airline’s proof of onward travel requirement, or an immigration check.

2. What the service is not

  • It is not a ticket to travel on. No fare is paid and no e-ticket is issued. You cannot board a flight with the reservation alone.
  • It does not guarantee any outcome. Whether an embassy, consulate, airline, or officer accepts a reservation as proof of onward or return travel is entirely their decision. We make no representation about acceptance and cannot influence it.
  • It is not permanent. The reservation stays live until the airline’s own deadline, which the airline sets per fare and route. The exact validity is shown to you before you pay and printed on the PDF. After that time the airline releases the seats and the PNR stops resolving.
  • It is not travel advice. Content on this site about visa rules and airline policies is general information, updated periodically, and may be out of date. Always confirm requirements with the embassy or airline concerned.

3. Who may use it

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You may order on behalf of other travellers (up to 9 per order) only if you have their permission to share their personal and passport details with us and, through us, with the airline. You are responsible for the accuracy of every detail you enter.

4. Placing an order

  1. You choose a route and dates, we search live airline availability and show you the reservation that will be placed, including its validity.
  2. You enter passenger details exactly as they appear on each passport. Names, date of birth, nationality and passport details go to the airline; a mismatch can cause verification to fail.
  3. You choose immediate issuance, or scheduled issuance so the reservation is created about a day before you need it, at no extra charge.
  4. You pay the service fee. An order number (OW-XXXXXX) is created and your order status page becomes available.

An order is accepted when we create the reservation (or, for scheduled orders, when we accept the schedule). Until then we may decline an order, for example where a route or airline cannot be held, in which case you are refunded in full.

5. Price and payment

The service fee is $7 USD per leg per traveller (a one way reservation for one person is $7; a return is $14). The total is shown before payment and there are no other charges from us. The airline fare is never charged to you. Your card issuer may apply currency conversion or international transaction fees that are outside our control.

Payments are processed by our payment provider (Razorpay) over an encrypted checkout; we never see or store your full card number. The charge appears on your statement as Onward Ticket Inc.. The fee is a service charge for placing and delivering the reservation and is non-refundable once the reservation has been delivered, except as set out in the Refund Policy.

6. Delivery, timing and the manual queue

Most reservations are created automatically and emailed to the address you gave within about a minute of payment. Scheduled reservations are created at the scheduled time and emailed then. Your order status page (linked in every email and at onwardticket.travel/booking/your-order-number) shows the current state and lets you re-download the PDF.

If a reservation cannot be placed automatically, it is routed to a specialist who places it by hand. Our commitment is a live PNR within 6 hours of payment. If we miss that, the payment is refunded automatically and in full; you do not need to ask.

Delivery is by email. Check spam and promotions folders and add support@onwardticket.travel to your contacts. If an email bounces or you gave the wrong address, contact support; we will correct the address and resend at no cost.

7. Your responsibilities

  • Enter names, dates of birth, nationalities and passport details exactly as on the passport. Corrections are free before the reservation is created; after the airline holds the booking, a name cannot be edited and a new reservation (a new order) is required.
  • Use the reservation only for its purpose: documenting travel plans. Do not alter the PDF, present it as a paid ticket, or use it to attempt travel.
  • Verify the requirements of the embassy or airline you are dealing with. If they require a paid ticket, a reservation will not satisfy them.
  • Keep your order number and the email address you used; they are how we identify you when you contact support.

8. Prohibited use

You must not use the service, the site, or any document we deliver to:

  • forge, alter or misrepresent any document, or present a reservation as a purchased fare;
  • impersonate another person, or provide passport details you are not authorised to share;
  • attempt to board a flight, or claim a refund from an airline, on the basis of a reservation;
  • place orders by automated means, resell reservations, or interfere with the site or its APIs;
  • commit or facilitate fraud, including using a payment method you are not authorised to use.

We may cancel orders, refuse service and report conduct to payment providers or authorities where we reasonably suspect any of the above.

9. Airlines and third parties

Reservations are created through airline distribution systems. Airlines control availability, fares, hold periods and may cancel or reschedule flights or release held seats at their discretion. We are not the airline and are not responsible for their decisions. If an airline cancels a reservation before the validity we showed you, we will re-issue a comparable reservation or refund you in full, as described in the Refund Policy.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from an order is limited to the service fee you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including refused visas, missed flights, denied boarding, changes in travel plans, or costs incurred with embassies, airlines or other third parties.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud. Where consumer protection law in your country gives you rights that cannot be excluded, those rights apply.

11. Content and intellectual property

The site, its content, brand and software belong to Onward Ticket Inc. or its licensors. You may use the PDF we deliver for your own travel documentation. You may not copy the site or its content for commercial purposes without permission.

12. Privacy

We handle personal data, including passport details, as described in the Privacy Policy. Passenger details are shared with airlines and their systems solely to create the reservation.

13. Changes to the service or these terms

We may update these terms; the effective date at the top changes when we do, and the version in force when you placed an order applies to that order. We may change prices and features for future orders at any time.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and its courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection you enjoy in your country of residence. Before any formal step, please write to support@onwardticket.travel; almost every issue is a wrong email address or a name typo, and we fix those the same day.
